These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Duels+ website (https://duelsplus.com), the Duels+ dashboard (https://dash.duelsplus.com), the Duels+ launcher, the Duels+ proxy, the Duels+ API (https://api-prod.duelsplus.com), and the Duels+ proxy (together, the "Service"), operated by Duels+ ("we", "us", "our").
Duels+ is run by an unincorporated team and is not operated through a registered company. Nothing in these Terms should be read as implying otherwise. Duels+ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hypixel Inc. or Mojang Studios/Microsoft.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service. You confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Discord in your jurisdiction) and have the authority to agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Duels+ is a third-party Minecraft proxy that sits between your client and Hypixel's servers, designed to enhance your experience playing Hypixel Duels.
To use the Service, you will need to log in with your Microsoft account. This is required because Minecraft uses Microsoft Authentication to verify your identity, and it allows the proxy to sit between your client and Hypixel to relay (and where applicable, modify) traffic between them.
You will also need to provide your own Hypixel API Key. This is used to retrieve statistics and relevant data from the public Hypixel API, subject to Hypixel's rate limit of 300 requests per 5 minutes per development key. A development key must be refreshed by you every one to three days at https://developer.hypixel.net/dashboard.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your Discord account, Microsoft account, and any Hypixel API Key you provide secure, and for all activity that takes place through your account. Standard access to the Service is free.
3. Subscriptions
We offer optional subscriptions to enhance your experience with Duels+. Subscriptions are entirely optional; you don't need to pay anything to use the Service. We offer two subscription options:
- Celestial: A one-time purchase subscription that grants permanent subscription benefits.
- Divine: A monthly recurring subscription that grants ongoing subscription benefits.
Subscription purchases are initiated through our dashboard and processed by Tebex. Subscriptions are subject to Tebex's own terms and refund policies, not ours. For details on Tebex's terms and conditions, visit https://checkout.tebex.io/terms.
We also support coupon codes and creator codes, which may be distributed through various channels. 4. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree that you will not:
- share, sell, or otherwise give access to your Duels+ account or authentication tokens to anyone else;
- use the Service to harass other players, or to gain an unfair advantage in violation of Hypixel's rules; or
- attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service.
To help enforce these rules, we keep a record of which Minecraft IGNs have logged in through your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Reports
If you submit a report against another user, you agree to do so in good faith and to the best of your knowledge. We may use submitted reports to investigate potential violations of these Terms and take action accordingly.
6. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach Section 4 of these Terms, or if we otherwise reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the Service or its users. Where practical, we'll try to let you know why.
7. Risk Acknowledgment
The Service works by modifying how your client communicates with Hypixel's servers. You acknowledge that using third-party tools with Minecraft and Hypixel may carry risk under Hypixel's and Mojang's own rules and Terms of Service, including the possibility of account restrictions or bans. You use the Service at your own risk, and any action taken against your Mojang or Hypixel account as a result of using the Service is your responsibility.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to its quality, accuracy, reliability, or availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the people operating Duels+ will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service, including (without limitation) any action taken against your Minecraft or Hypixel account, loss of data, or loss of access to the Service.
