What are Custom Ranks?
Custom Ranks let eligible Duels+ players create and use personalized ranks in-game. These ranks function as a prefix that replaces the Hypixel rank in chat, tablist, and other visible areas. Players can customize their rank with colors, symbols, and text to make it unique.
Eligibility
Not all players can create custom ranks. Eligibility is determined by your account status:
- Each eligible Duels+ user can create 1 custom rank
- This rank can be applied to any player associated with the user
- Eligibility is currently granted to:
- Partners
- Leaderboard players
Eligibility may change or expand over time.
Custom Rank Guidelines
Custom ranks are visible to all Duels+ players; therefore, all players must ensure their ranks are appropriate:
Be Respectful
- No hate speech, slurs, harassment, or threats
- No sexually explicit or NSFW content
- Do not impersonate staff or other players
- Avoid offensive symbols, words, or abbreviations
Keep it Appropriate
- Avoid self-promotion or advertising
- Do not include personal information about yourself or others
- Avoid references to real-world violence, illegal activity, or self-harm
Formatting Rules
- Ranks should be readable and clear
- Avoid excessive symbols or confusing formatting
- Do not use tricks to bypass filters or formatting
- Do not impersonate official ranks (e.g., "MVP++", "YOUTUBE")
Consequences
Violating the guidelines above may result in:
- Removal of the custom rank at staff discretion
- Permanent restrictions from creating ranks
- Duels+ account termination for severe or repeated violations
Staff decisions are final.
